Six places you will not forget
Ephesus is one of the best-preserved classical cities in the Mediterranean. Your guide chooses the order and pace; these are the stops most guests remember.
Library of Celsus
Built in the early 2nd century AD as a library and tomb for the governor Celsus, its two-storey facade is the image most visitors carry home. Statues in the niches personify wisdom, knowledge, intelligence and virtue.
Great Theatre
Cut into the slope of Mount Pion, the theatre held roughly 24,000 spectators. Plays, public assemblies and gladiator shows took place here, and the Acts of the Apostles describes a tumultuous gathering in this very theatre.
Curetes Street
The city's main marble street runs downhill past fountains, honorary monuments and the Temple of Hadrian. Walked slowly with a guide, it brings the civic life of Roman Ephesus back into focus.
Terrace Houses
Beneath a modern protective roof, the homes of wealthy Ephesians preserve wall paintings and floor mosaics. They show private life rather than public monuments, and they are an optional extra with a separate ticket.
Temple of Artemis
The Artemision, dedicated to the goddess Artemis, was counted among the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Little survives on the site near Selçuk, but a single reassembled column hints at its original scale.
House of the Virgin Mary
A small stone chapel in the pine woods above Ephesus, venerated by Christians and Muslims as a place linked by tradition with Mary's last years. Popes have visited it, and it remains a quiet place of pilgrimage.
A calmer, clearer way to see Ephesus
One group, your pace
No coach schedules or crowds of strangers. Your guide sets the rhythm to your interests and energy.
Real context, not a recital
Licensed guides connect Roman engineering, early Christian history and daily life, so the ruins make sense.
Built around the ship
Share your all-aboard time and the day is planned backwards from it, with a margin for the return.
Answers on WhatsApp
Questions before and during your trip go to a real person in Kuşadası, not a call centre.
Costs shown plainly
Starting prices, inclusions and ticket budgets are laid out before any commitment.
Your language
Guiding in English, German, Russian and Spanish; confirm your language when you enquire.
Your port day, planned backwards
Ephesus is a short drive from the Kuşadası and İzmir cruise ports, but a port call is a tight clock. We ask for your ship's all-aboard time first, then shape the route and the pace around it, with a safety margin for the return. Your guide stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout the day.
